Vishal Reddy and Arya starrer 'Vaadu-Veedu' opened to thumping collections this week. This movie collected Rs 50 lakh in the first three days of its release only in Nizam area. Vishal's brother Vikram Krishna bought the Telugu dubbing rights of this movie.
The movie unit promoted the film well in Telugu market. Director Bala, actors Arya and Vishal were in Hyderabad for the audio launch a few weeks ago. With heavy promotions and farely positive reviews, the movie got great openings.Rs 58 lakh for the weekend is a great business for a dubbed movie.
Also since Allu Arjun's 'Badrinath' bombed badly at the box office thanks to poor reviews, 'Vaadu Veedu' is the only movie in the theatres now. Vishal delivered award winning performance in this film.
The trade reports from Cded and Coastal too are postive for 'Vaadu Veedu'. This is the biggest ever opening for Vishal's film in Telugu market.
